For Winger Suzuki, designers T Plus Architects specified EverTread to help keep staff and customers safe and to ensure the showroom floors are protected from dirt and moisture, keeping them in better condition for longer.

EverTread is a robust entrance matting system designed for use in high-traffic areas, with absorbent polyamide inserts set into a strong, stylish aluminium frame. To arrest high volumes of walked-in moisture and dirt, the polyamide inserts will absorb 5.4 litres of moisture per square meter of insert. In addition, EverTread has specifically designed slots help remove excessive moisture.

Ideal for automotive showrooms, EverTread will withstand consistent rolling traffic use and can be driven on by cars and maintenance equipment with spread load points of 500kg/m2 per wheel. Safe and slip resistant in all conditions, EverTread offers sufficient friction and absorbency to remove excess moisture, preventing slips and falls that may cause injury.

Reducing the ingress of dirt and moisture also helps to maintain and preserve interior flooring, preventing stains, scratching and other damage that can reduce a floor’s useful life. EverTread itself is simple to maintain; the polyamide fibres raise back after pressure, meaning the weave stays open to trap dirt and moisture. This also makes for easy cleaning, and the resilience means greater resistance to wear, keeping the entranceway – and the showroom – looking good.
