Elegant carpet tiles paired with innovative timbers

Advance Flooring’s carpet tiles are the perfect match for VidaSpace’s wall and flooring product samples in their flagship Auckland showroom. 

VidaSpace imports innovative wall and flooring solutions with a focus on responsibly sourced wood and unique feature-wall products. Their Parnell showroom, located in a refurbished warehouse with a double-height volume and mezzanine floor, features displays, collaboration facilities for designers, and two workplace floors for the team.

The showroom is open, welcoming and designed as a ‘gallery’ experience – timeless finishes and an uncluttered environment backdrop an exceptional product display. A well as pull-out sample drawers – like a gallery would store prints – there are feature timber walls in the boardroom, cabinetry featuring VidaSpace’s timber veneer products and a signature white oak floor in the showroom.

When selecting a carpet for the office area, Justin Roderique from design studio Pennant & Triumph was clear on what would provide warmth, soften the acoustics, and match the aesthetic. The carpet also needed to contrast with the timber floor of the kitchen and showroom areas. ‘We selected the Mossburn carpet tiles for their look and performance, to withstand the wear-and-tear of an office environment,’ he explains. ‘Their texture and colour needed to be complementary to the rest of the fit-out.’

Mossburn is part of Advance Flooring’s commercial carpet tile range. A durable, multi-level loop, its graphic tufted construction is made with 100% solution-dyed nylon. Five elegant greys are available ex-stock for express delivery nationwide. These neutrals go with any interior, while the pattern and texture add subtle character and background.
